Wild life comparisons

DAVID, I must say you have the balls of a water buffalo. I say that with admiration in my voice.

I am 66 yrs old and a veteran of the Korean conflict (7th Marines ) and am a Native American. Osage and Pottawatomie. I have innumerable books on WW2 and some memorabilia. Have purchased Hitler's War, Goebbels, and the 2 volumes of Churchill's War.

Having read eight books concerning Hitler, yours is the most accurate in my mind. All the others seem to tell people what they want to hear. I certainly am no fan of Adolph's, but there is enough evil in the man to condemn him with the truth. No need to varnish him with lies or half truths.

I have downloaded the books that are out of print and no longer available. I print them out for my own use. I can not sit for long at one time. (High blood pressure and diabetes are endemic within the Native American people).

This Indian is a fan of yours and plan on sending what I can afford to the Key West address.

Thanks for having the balls to tell the truth.

Jimmy (Two Ponies) Johnson

Irving David Irving replies:

I AM flattered to be compared with that animal; somebody once compared Churchill with a great white elephant charging blindly through a forest. Your own comparison is infinitely more flattering. Driving down route California 199 through the Redwoods, I stopped last month at a Walmart store in a little forest clearing, and ordered a coffee. The store clerk said it was free on Tuesday's, and when I queried that she said: "It's free for seniors, Sir." I insisted on paying.
