The Low-Down on Lea
LEA Rosh is the girl griend of the singulary unlovely professor Eberhard Jäckel, former head of the history department at Stuttgart University, who was unmasked together with her for using fake photographs to illustrate a Holocaust documentary on German television, Der Tod, ein Meister aus Deutschland. (Which makes Jäckel a "Meister-Nestbeschmützer" aus Deutschland).
Lea is not of course her real name, nor is she Jewish. She was born Edith, but sensing that it would assist her career in the German television industry if the cringing adminsitrators of that industry thought she was Jewish, she changed her first name to Lea. She consequently rocketed to fame and fortune as chief of Nord-deutscher Rundfunk, one of the biggest television networks in Europe.
