This week (Sept 2004) he alerted HonestReporting.com
to this cartoon published in Sweden's largest
morning daily, Dagens
Nyheter.
Created by the paper's staff cartoonist, it
appeared on the 'Family' page. In consequence, as
the newspaper's ombudsman Lilian
Ãhrsträm [ombudsman@dn.se]
commented on Sept 16, 2004, her mail box was
flooded with e-mail, more than 1000 so far, almost
all from the USA and brimming with hatred, threats,
and obscenities. As she herself puts it, this
campaign largely confirms the message that the
artist wanted to convey.
