If the government of the Hungarian Republic were in a position to treat French farmers as it treats its own, their ministry building would be torched. And not just that. There would be fear and trembling. I hope there will be, as things are.   David Irving comments: THE translator of this article comments: Hungarian farmers have descended on the capital with their (about 900) tractors and are parked in front of the parliament in Kossuth Square. They are furious with the gang of thieves (i.e. the present 'left wing' government) for having withheld their meagre EU subsidies. They are demanding that the Minister for Agriculture meet them on neutral ground for talks. However, the good Minister is too scared to leave the Ministry of Agriculture building. The farmers have given the government until 9.00 a.m. tomorrow to hand over their EU subsidies. Failing that, more farmers with tractors will be called into the capital. The quite weird thing is that not a single mainstream media outlet has reported this situation. Surely it should be a major international scandal when an EU member country's government hogs EU funds meant for farmers? I am inspired to write to you on this matter because I think something really interesting is under way in Hungary. It seems to me that this situation will be the perfect antithesis of the Ukrainian Orange Revolution (much beloved, as you know, of the mainstream media).
