October 12, 2009 News Release MOST-ANTI-COMMUNIST STATE WELCOMES IRVING JACKSON - One of the world's
leading opponents of Communism will be speaking in
the most-anti-Communist state. David Irving will be
appearing at City Hall in Jackson, Mississippi,
October 21, 2009, at 6:00 PM. The British historian and author will be
speaking in opposition to "Stalinist tactics,"
recounting being jailed in Europe for [a
lecture twenty years ago] expressing his views,
and detailing his new book, Banged Up.
Fellow-author Robert Weems described Mississippi as
"the most anti-Communist state in the Union." Irving will hold a news-conference at 2:00 PM on
October 20 at Jackson City Hall. Then, he will be
appearing at 5:00 PM on the "Kim Wade Show" on WJNT
1180 AM. The following day, October 21, Irving will
be broadcasting at 7:00 AM on the "Paul Gallo
Show", state-wide on "Super Talk Radio", WMFN 93.3
FM, and on the "Charles Evers Show," WMPR Radio
90.1 FM, that evening at 8:00 PM, following his
address at City Hall. Irving has been hailed as a leading proponent of
free-speech. The New York Times described him as
"perhaps the greatest living authority" on World
War II. For his strong and "controversial" views,
Irving has been banned from Australia, South
Africa, Canada, New Zealand and Germany, but is
welcomed in the home-state of James O. Eastland,
described by Pravda as "the leading enemy of
Communism in the world." The state-legislature has
repeatedly passed resolutions condemning
Communism. http://www.nationalist.org/news/releases/2009/101201.html -
