Website note:

THIS is a textbook piece of garbled journalism. In November 1963, Gerald Gable and two associates in his gang of burglars and arsonists David Friedman and Manny Carpel, were arrested after being caught by police red handed burgling David Irving's North London apartment. The criminal record earned by Gable on this petty-thieving occasion fed his lifelong hatred of Mr Irving. His associates went on to a life of major crime, including arson, for which they served prison terms.
